Short version
You own your Eventmindy workspace. Mindy uses your profile, contacts, event notes, follow-up data, and saved social signals to run the product and help you manage relationships. We do not sell your contact list.
What you add to Mindy
You may add your name, email, company, role, bio, QR-sharing fields, contact details, social profile links, events, notes, tags, warmth labels, follow-up dates, and public signal records you choose to save.
How Mindy uses that data
We use your data to authenticate your account, keep the app working, sync your workspace, generate shareable QR cards, organize contacts by event, support follow-up workflows, improve reliability, and protect the service.
Local storage and cloud sync
Mindy can store app data locally in your browser so it remains available on the device you are using. If you create an account or sign in, selected workspace data may also sync to our backend so you can recover it and use it across devices.
QR sharing
Your QR card shares only the profile fields you choose to make shareable. You can change the shared fields from the profile/sharing settings inside the app.
Social signals
If you save a LinkedIn, X, Instagram, or Threads URL, Mindy stores the URL and the context you provide. Automatic ingestion, where available, is used only to support relationship intelligence for contacts you already saved.
Analytics
We may use analytics to understand visits, installs, QR interactions, event creation, contact creation, exports, and product health. We do not send private notes, relationship context, or full contact records as analytics payloads.
Third-party services
We rely on providers for hosting, authentication, password reset, synced storage, analytics, and similar operational needs. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to Mindy.
Security
We use HTTPS and authenticated access controls for synced data. No internet service is perfectly secure, so you should also protect your device, browser, and account credentials.
Your controls
- Edit your profile and QR sharing fields.
- Edit or delete contacts, notes, events, tags, and follow-ups.
- Export contact data where export is available.
- Request deletion of account or synced data.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data. Email privacy@eventmindy.com to make a privacy request.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as Mindy changes. Material updates will be reflected by changing this page or notifying users when appropriate.
