Data We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating and using your Mindy account, including profile information such as name, email, company, role, bio, and any optional contact details you choose to add.
We also process the contacts, notes, tags, follow-up dates, and event data you create inside the app.
Mindy stores data locally in your browser and, for signed-in users, also syncs account data to our managed backend infrastructure so your information can be accessed across devices and recovered after sign-in.
How We Use Your Data
We use your information to provide and maintain the Mindy service, authenticate your account, sync your profile, contacts, and events across devices, enable QR-based profile sharing and contact capture, help you manage professional contacts, measure product usage, and support reliability, security, and legal compliance.
Analytics and Cookies
Mindy uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, sessions, product usage, installs, contact creation, event creation, QR interactions, and export activity.
We do not use analytics to send the contents of your contacts, notes, agreements, or event records to Google Analytics.
Data Storage and Security
Your data may be stored both locally on your device and in our cloud infrastructure when you use a signed-in account. We use authenticated access controls and HTTPS for data transmitted between your device and our services.
Your Rights
You have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your data, export your data, and withdraw consent where consent is the applicable legal basis.
Third-Party Services
We rely on third-party infrastructure providers to support authentication, password reset, synchronized data storage, and analytics. When you share your profile by QR code, selected profile fields are embedded in a share URL so the receiving device can read them directly.
